The Center for Contemporary Opera, the oldest company in the world solely devoted to the development and production of modern operas, has announced its 35th season. We begin by offering the East Coast premiere of two significant works by Gordon Getty, one of America’s  foremost composers, Usher House and The Canterville Ghost.  This will be followed by readings of two works in progress, The Song of Frederick by Scott Wheeler, and Hester by Richard Alan White. In the new year,  we will present To Be Sung by the esteemed French composer, Pascal Dusapin,  “Backwards from Winter“, a monodrama by Douglas Knehans and a final work in progress, “Swan’s Inlet” by Mark Alan Taggert and Ann McCutchan.  Please join us!
